KL Ranch Camp provides tent campers with good options for scenic views camping on the Guadalupe River or overlooks from tent sites on the cliff. Hill Country RV Resort and Cabins, situated in a rural area just off I-35, provides convenient access to downtown, Schlitterbahn, the Comal and Guadalupe rivers and nearby Canyon Lake. Cabins come fully furnished with kitchen, cable TV and WiFi. Playground and game room with pool and ping pong are onsite for guests. RV camping is also available here. Rio Raft & Resort offers river view cabins on the Guadalupe River ranging from efficiency to three bedroom spaces. Overlooking the Guadalupe River, fully furnished cottages have kitchen, cable TV, private deck with picnic table. Rio has 24-hour on-site camp hosts and prides itself on providing a healthy family atmosphere.

Public Parks

Landa Park, nestled on the Comal River banks, delights visitors with glass-bottom boat rides, boat rentals, tubing and a natural spring-fed pool. Miniature golf and regular golf courses as well as a children’s playground and a recreation center with gym provide fitness and fun for visitors. The City Tube Chute thrills kids of all ages with a ride on the longest tube chute in the world. Located on the Comal River, this public facility treats guests to water fun, picnicking and provides restrooms with showers.
