You can take excellent care of your hair and at times still find yourself dealing with extremely frizzy hair. Harsh chemicals in shampoos can attribute to frizz. The condition of the air where you live can also cause problems for your hair; extremely dry air and humidity can both lead to extremely frizzy hair. Use ingredients found in your home to make an avocado deep conditioner that can help combat your frizz issues.
Step 1
Hold the avocado firmly in one hand. Use your dominant hand to cut the avocado in half lengthwise. Remove the pit from the center by using enough force with the knife to loosen the pit. Scoop the avocado flesh out using the spoon, and place the flesh in the blender.
Step 2
Add the coconut milk and the mayonnaise to the blender. Blend the ingredients together until you get a thick paste. You want the deep conditioner to be a smooth mixture without any noticeable lumps.
Step 3
Remove the deep conditioner from the blender and apply it to your damp hair. Be sure that each strand is thoroughly coated. Pay special attention to the ends of your hair, and use any extra conditioner to reapply to your ends.
Step 4
Place the processing cap over you hair. Heat the towel with warm water and then wrap the towel around the processing cap for 30 minutes.
Step 5
Rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water until you remove all of the deep conditioner. Check your hair for any leftover deep conditioner.
Step 6
Rinse your hair with the coldest water you can tolerate. The cold water closes your hair's cuticle and allows it lay smooth, which helps to eliminate the appearance of frizz.
