Perfect for thrill seekers and beginners alike, you'll experience what it's like to fly at speeds of 120 miles per hour but only be a few feet off the ground in a wind tunnel. Trained professionals will be with you during the entire experience to watch out for your safety, teach you the basics of skydiving and offer techniques on tricks like flipping. Practice your golf swing right in the middle of the crowded city of San Francisco. The San Francisco Golf Performance Center is an indoor golf studio offering golfing lessons. Catering to your specific needs, instructors will help develop your swing, work on your golf fitness and encourage you to overcome various obstacles. They base their style of teaching on their mantra "If you are not assessing, you are guessing." At the center you'll have access to first class coaching, 3D assessments and multi-view assessment of your swing along with others in the game. Clubs, balls and gloves are included in the lesson although you are welcome to bring your own.
Indoor Climbing
Get your workout in a unique way by climbing walls. Mission Cliffs, an indoor facility, offers a headwall over 50 feet tall which, according to their site, is one of the highest walls you will find in the industry. Gentle slopes are available for the beginner and experienced climbers can choose more difficult steep terrain. Throughout the facility, you will enjoy 14,000 square feet of climbing terrain, 2,000 square feet of bouldering and 80 top and lead ropes. Aerobic and weight rooms, locker rooms and showers and fitness classes are available.
Indoor Ice Skating
Yerba Buena Skating Center is San Francisco's only year round indoor skating rink. Open 18 hours a day, seven days a week, you can attend a public skating session, freestyle for competing skaters, figure skating and hockey skating schools, synchronized skating and hockey leagues. Private instruction is also available. With a building capacity of 1,100, there is room for over 500 to 600 skaters and over 300 spectators. Figure and hockey skate rentals are available. Purchase food, beverages and locker rentals for a small fee.
