New Jersey affords visitors the chance to whitewater raft, watch dolphins, ice skate and parasail. The state offers a variety of activities and things to do to keep you busy. Whether driving your car or recreational vehicle you will notice RV campgrounds throughout the state near major attractions and recreational activities.

Burlington County RV Campgrounds

If you are driving in Burlington County, you are likely to pass through New Gretna, Fort Dix, Chatsworth and Mount Holley. These towns also offer diverse RV camping. Burlington county RV campgrounds include Belhaven Lake RV Resort, Pilgrim Lake Campground and Bass River State Forest. Some of these campsites offer full hookups, dump stations and restrooms with showers. You can fish in Lake Absegami, boat in Bellhaven Lake and hike or ride a horse in Historic Smithville Park.

Atlantic County RV Campgrounds

Atlantic County sits in southern New Jersey south of Burlington County. You will find RV campgrounds in Port Republic, Egg Harbor and Buena. If you want a family-friendly campground, the Buena Vista Camping Resort offers arcades, a mini-golf course and the Double Flume Waterslide. Another accommodation within 20 minutes from Cape May Ferry, Renault Winery and Historic Smithville Village is the Holly Acres RV Park, This park offers pull-through campsites, back-in sites, miniature golf, a freshwater pond, swimming, softball and horseshoes.

Gloucester County RV Campgrounds

Delaware Valley includes Gloucester County, which is northwest of Atlantic City. RV campgrounds in the area include Lake Kandle, Holly Green and Old Cedar Campgrounds. Both campgrounds offer water, sewer and electric hookups. Activities include hiking, volleyball, basketball and swimming. Old Cedar Campground includes a 10-hole mini-golf course, a mini-zoo and two acres of fishing area.

Ocean County RV Campgrounds

A trip to Ocean County may afford you the opportunity to visit Beach Haven, Seaside Heights or Barnegat. During your travels, you may pass Cedar Creek Campground in Bayville or Tip Tam Camping Resort in Jackson. Both campgrounds offer full hookups. Activities available include mini-golf, canoeing and hiking. Attractions nearby are the Six Flags Great Adventure Theme Park and Hurricane Harbor.

Hudson County RV Campground

While you drive through Hudson County, you may pass Bayonne, West New York, Secaucus and Weehawken. If you want to stay close to New York City 45, park your RV in Liberty Harbor Marina and RV Park. This park offers 50 campsites with water and electricity shower facilities, a dump station and laundry room. Area attractions include Liberty State Park, Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty
