The city of Santa Claus, Indiana is located in southwestern Indiana. The general theme of the town is Christmas. Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Resort in Santa Claus, Indiana offers 40 tent camping sites that can accommodate up to eight people at each site. One large tent per site or two small, one-room tents are allowed per camping site. Each site is equipped with water and electric hookups, a grill, and a picnic table. You must stay a minimum of one night during the week or two nights during the weekend, three nights if it is a holiday weekend. Rates in 2010 range from $25 to $33 per night, depending on the day of the week and the season. You must call for reservations.

Scales Lake Park is just 24 miles from Santa Claus, Indiana in the city of Boonville. The campground has 83 camping sites. Tent site rates range from $9 to $11 per night, depending on the day of the week. You do not need advance reservations. The park has a playground for kids and mountain bike trails.

Cabin and Cottage Rentals

Santa’s Lakeside Cottages is located in Santa Claus, Indiana, along 2.6 acres of Lake Jolly. Each cottage can accommodate up to six people comfortably. Amenities include a kitchen, heat, air conditioning, free wireless Internet, and barbecue grills. You can fish in the lake, take a nature walk around the lake, and let the kids play in nearby Elf Park. The daily rates for 2010 depend on the season and the size of bed included in the cottage. Motorcycle Camping

Lincoln State Park is just seven miles west of Santa Claus, Indiana, and has a campground that can accommodate the motorcycle camper. There are 31 tent campsites. Reservations can be made online or by calling the park. Hiking trails and fishing are activities offered during your stay at the campground.

Lake Rudolph Campground and RV Park offers primitive tent campsites for camping while you travel on your motorcycle. There are 40 tent sites that can accommodate your tent. Restrooms, laundry, and showers are available. Daily rates apply; you can contact the campground for current rates and reservation requirements.
