The forehead is a prominent places for skin wrinkling to occur. There are several methods of treatment for forehead wrinkles depending on cost, recovery time and whether or not you want an invasive or non-invasive procedure. Botox

Botox injections are an invasive methods to getting rid of forehead wrinkles. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, or AAD, botox injected into certain facial muscles to help them relax and decrease the appearance of lines and wrinkles It reduces forehead creases as well as eyebrow furrows and crow's feet. These injections should be repeated once every four months.

Soft Tissue Fillers

The AAD states that soft tissue fillers are considered the first line in treatment for lines and wrinkles. Collagen products and hyaluronic acids are often used as fillers. They are injected underneath the skin's surface to contour lines and smooth skin depressions. They may also help stimulate the body's production of collagen, which helps with skin elasticity.

Brow Lift

A brow or forehead lift is a surgical procedure that helps transpose the brow for a smoother, more youthful appearance. Those with forehead creases or sagging brows find this procedure beneficial as it only has to be performed once and it takes an hour or less to perform the surgery.

Laser Resurfacing

Laser resurfacing is an effective, non-invasive method to get rid of forehead wrinkles. This procedure is widely used since the Food and Drug Administration approved it for wrinkle treatment. Lasers are used over facial skin to remove the top layers and promote collagen production. You may need a series of treatments to produce optimal results.
