Frizzy hair is a common hair problem that makes your hair appear unhealthy. The frizz can be attributed to improper moisture levels in your hair and lack of proper technique when drying your hair. A round brush allows you to dry your hair without frizz because it smooths your hair and adds body while you dry your hair. A smooth, polished look is not possible when you have frizzy hair, but with practice, you can dry your hair without frizz every time.

Step 1

Remove the excess water from your hair. Wring your hair with your hands beginning with the ends of your hair and working upward. Begin the drying process with the least amount of water possible left in your hair to dry your hair without frizz.

Step 2

Apply a dime-sized amount of leave-in moisturizer to your hair. Focus on the ends of your hair first. Make sure that your strands are coated from roots to ends by combing through your hair with the wide-toothed comb.

Step 3

Apply heat protectant to your hair, focusing on the ends. The ends are the oldest part of your hair and require the most protection before applying heat. Make sure that you evenly coat each strand from root to tip.

Step 4

Section your hair into workable parts. Place a hair clip on each part to keep them separated. Dividing your hair is important in making sure that each section of hair gets dried evenly, which is important in drying your hair without frizz.

Step 5

Remove the hair clip from one section. Divide that section into smaller sections. Place the round brush underneath a small section and pull the hair taut. Hold the blow dryer 4 inches directly above the round brush. Slowly move the round brush and the blow dryer down the section of hair simultaneously. Repeat the round brush and blow dryer movement for each of the smaller sections.

Step 6

Repeat Step 5 for each large section of hair.

Step 7

Mist your hair with a humidity-blocking hair spray. The spray will prevent the humidity in the air from turning your smooth, silky hair into frizz while adding more shine to your hair.
