The Proform 930I treadmill is an exercise machine designed for use in a home environment; when not in use, the device folds up for easy storage. The 930's features include a 2.0 CHP motor, adjustable incline settings, a heart rate monitor, a book holder, a built-in fan, preset training programs and support for integration with “iFit” brand workouts. If your Proform 930I ceases to function normally, an inspection of the device's internal components may help to identify the problem.

Turn on the treadmill and insert the key into the console. Press the bottom incline button until the treadmill's deck is at the lowest level. Remove the treadmill key, turn off the treadmill and unplug the power cord.
Step 2
Remove the screws securing the motor hood in place. Lift the motor hood off the base of the treadmill and set it aside.
