A stability ball is a large latex ball used to strengthen the muscles of the body. Originally used for rehabilitation in physical therapy clinics, stability balls are now found in gyms and homes throughout the world. Stability balls are great for exercise because they are easily adaptable for all fitness levels. Stability balls come in a range of sizes for people of all weights and heights. To determine what size ball is right for you is a fairly easy task.

Visit your local mass retailer or sporting goods store, or online shopping site for a wide selection of stability balls.

Purchase a 45 centimeter stability ball if you are under 5 feet tall.

Step 5

Purchase a 55 centimeter stability ball if you are between 5 feet to 5 feet 7 inches tall.

Step 6

Purchase a 65 centimeter stability ball if you are between 5 feet 8 inches tall to 6 feet 2 inches tall.

Step 7

Purchase a 75 centimeter stability ball if you are over 6 feet 3 inches tall.
