Licorice

Licorice, a sweet tasting herb, is native to Southern Asia as well as other parts of the world. The website Supreme Health states that licorice helps prevent hair loss and strengthens hair. Licorice can have certain side effects, such as increasing blood pressure, and should not be used by pregnant women.
