How to Become Self-Confident

No one is perfect. So we owe it to ourselves to acknowledge who we are and take pride in ourselves. We all have accomplishments to celebrate. Focusing energy on the positive aspects of life is the basis for becoming self-confident.

Step 1

Acknowledge that you're human and are not required to be perfect.

Step 2

Spend some time thinking about only your positive qualities and what makes you unique.

Step 3

Assess your accomplishments to date. It is not important to determine how many; it is important to understand what you have accomplished and how it contributes to your family, your community or society in general.

Step 4

Do regular goal-setting. If you feel you're not where you would like to be, set some goals that are in line with your aspirations and brainstorm the steps to accomplish them.

Step 5

Seek help if you need it. Find a support group to surround yourself with people that can help you to believe in yourself.
