Exercising on a trampoline can be a fun way to improve your cardiovascular health and build muscle strength. These devices are composed of a fabric jumping surface attached to a base frame by a series of springs; once the trampoline is assembled, the tension provided by the springs often is all that is necessary to hold the pieces together. As such, the assembly process is straightforward and does not require the use of special tools.
Step 1
Place two top tubes on the ground. Insert the end of one of the top tubes into the end of the socket on the other tube. Fit two legs into the sockets on each tube. Fit the opposite end of one of the legs over a center tube, then insert the remaining end of the tube into the end of the other leg. Repeat this process with two more sets of top tubes, legs and center bar.
Step 2
Slide two wheels onto the wheel base, and position them on the left side of the base. Use the C-clips to secure each wheel in place. Slide the remaining two wheels onto the wheel base, and secure them into position on the right side of the base.
Step 3
Join the fourth set of top tubes together, and insert the two short extension legs into the sockets on the tube. Insert the ends of the wheel base into the holes at the ends of the extension legs.
Step 4
Flip each set of top tubes upright. Join the ends of each set of tubes until they form a ring. Place the trampoline bed on the ground inside the ring.
Step 5
Hook one of the springs onto one of the V-rings attached to the trampoline bed. Hook another spring over the free end of the first spring. Use the second spring to pull the end of the first spring into one of the holes in the interior of the trampoline frame. Unhook the second spring.
Step 6
Attach seven more springs around the periphery of the trampoline bed; divide the trampoline frame into eighths, and attach the springs accordingly.
Step 7
Place the frame pad onto the trampoline; align the notches on the pad with the legs of the trampoline. Locate the straps attached to the underside of the pad. Wrap each strap around the frame, then buckle the straps securely.
Tips and Warnings
- Some components of the trampoline are large and may prove difficult to move into position, so a helper might be needed during the assembly process.
