Drug rehabilitation is available in Ohio at every level, with the goal of providing the tools necessary to return to a healthy, addiction-free life. Programs can be found for adolescents, adults and seniors, on an outpatient or inpatient basis, and for short- or long-term treatments. Ohio offers over 700 substance abuse programs throughout the state.

The Community Health Center

The Community Health Center has brought drug treatment options to northeast Ohio since 1974. Located in Akron on three different campuses, patient-centered facilities include education and outreach programs, medically assisted opiate treatment, employee assistance programs, substance abuse treatment, detoxification, a methadone program and housing. Payment assistance is available.

Bethesda Alcohol and Drug Treatment Program

Claiming to be the oldest hospital-based treatment facility in the Cincinnati area, Bethesda offers chemical dependency services which include outpatient and relapse therapy, family counseling and employee assistance programs. Self-payment is accepted as well as private health insurance, military insurance and Medicare.

Offering nine locations in Cuyahoga County, Recovery Resources, a non-profit organization, provides drug addiction and prevention programs for all ages, and offers intervention assistance and employee assistance programs. Payment assistance is also provided.
