Golf is a demanding and difficult game that takes great skill. New golfers and high handicappers get drawn to the game when they hit one of two good shots in a given rounds. Those good shots are enough to keep a golfer coming back for more. However, the idea is to build a consistent and repeatable golf swing. There are training tools available to the golfer to help him improve.
Practice Net
This is one of the best tools a golfer can have at his disposal. A golfer who has the property to set up a practice net--a 7-foot-by-7-foot net is typical--can work on his swing any time he is home and has some spare time. This is a very important aspect to the game. A player who has the opportunity to practice and work out has the best chance of improving.
Swing Band
This is a tool that wraps around the upper arms and it keeps the elbows from bending during the swing process. New golfers and high handicappers are often afflicted with a flying elbow, and the swing band helps keep the elbows from flying away from the body. The swing band brings together the upper arms and the body during the backswing, impact and follow through. By making the right elbow and forearm bend properly, the golfer can increase the force and speed of the club as it impacts the ball.
Putting Returner
Putting well is often a matter of practice. If you are on a practice putting green, you will have to chase down every ball you hit. That takes times. However, if you have a putting returner, you can practice your putting stroke and the ball will be returned to you after every shot. You don't have to walk around or chase down your shot. You can spend all your time aiming and putting because the ball is automatically returned back to you after you putt.
