How to Apply Benetint

Benetint is a cosmetic lip and cheek stain made by Benefit Cosmetics. The stain is used on the cheeks and lips and lasts for hours, according to Benefit. Benetint can be used alone or it can be used with foundation, powder, eyeshadow and mascara for a fully done-up look.

Step 1

Exfoliate facial skin and lips using a mild cleanser, warm water and a washcloth. Scrub the facial skin and lips with the washcloth using gentle circular motions to lather the cleanser, cleanse the pores and to remove dead skin. Rinse the skin in cool water to close the pores.

Step 2

Smooth a face moisturizer and/or foundation onto the facial skin, if desired. Wait 10 minutes before moving on to the next step, to allow the moisturizer to absorb into the skin.

Step 3

Dab three dots of Benetint onto one cheek, along the top ridge of the cheekbone. Rub the tint into your skin with your fingers using quick and gentle circular motions. Blend Benetint along the entire cheekbone. Repeat for the other cheek.

Step 4

Brush face powder over the skin, if desired.

Step 5

Dab two dots of Benetint on the center of the upper lip and another two dots on the center of the lower lip. Quickly blend the stain over the lips, using your index finger.

Step 6

Sweep a clear lipgloss over your lips to create moisture and shine.
