BareMinerals blush is a product in the Bare Escentuals mineral makeup line. The products are chemical- and talc-free and do not contain fragrance, oils or preservatives. The blush, available in a powder form, comes in 15 shades, from deep bronzes to light pinks.
Step 1
Purchase a soft blush brush. The brush should be full and the bristles soft to the touch.
Step 2
Apply the mineral powder to the brush by lightly swirling the brush in the application container. Tap the brush on the edge of the container to remove excess blush.
Step 3
Sweep the brush across the cheek bones, from the apples of the cheeks toward the hairline. Find the apples of your cheeks by smiling, and start at the circle part of the cheek. Add more blush as needed for a light glow.
Step 4
Blend well to avoid a streaked look by lightly buffing the area with the brush. Add a small amount of blush to the forehead, nose and neck for additional color.
Tips and Warnings
- Peach- and bronze-colored blushes are recommended for warm skin tones, and pink and rose colors are for cool tones.
