The corpora cavernosa consists of two spongy cylindrical tubes that run the length of your penis. When filled with pressurized blood they cause the penis to become rigid and erect similar to when balloon is filled with air. The theory is that since the corpora cavernosa expands, that the more blood you can get into it, the larger the erection will be.

Jelqing

Jelqing is purported to be an ancient Arabic way of enlarging the penis by making an "OK" gesture with your finger and milking a semi erect penis from the base to the head. This is supposed to expand your corpora cavernosa to accept more blood, thus leading to a larger penis. While popular, no definitive research has claimed this to be true.

Kegel Exercises

Kegel exercises, the repeated flexing of your pubococcygeus, or PC, muscles will strengthen them and allow for your corpora cavernosa to keep a greater amount of blood in your penis, giving you firmer and longer lasting penis. While the size of your erect penis might not grow, your erection will be the hardest and fullest you can naturally achieve.

Rings

Increased blood flow expands the corpora cavernosa, stretching the tunica, a sheath that surrounds the corpora cavernosa. As the tunica stretches, it blocks off the veins that take blood away from the corpora cavernosa. This traps blood within the penis; the pressure becomes very high and the penis becomes erect. When you use a penis ring, you help the tunica maintain the amount of pressure inside the penis. With a forceful PC contraction to give a surge of blood to the penis and applying a penis ring, you can trap a slightly larger amount of blood and have a fuller erection.
