Step 1
Drink water to hydrate your skin from the inside out. The body's water supply is constantly being depleted as you breathe, sweat, and release toxins through urination and defecation. - Avoid taking hot baths or showers in the winter to avoid aggravating your dry skin. When you take a bath or shower, limit it to approximately 15 minutes to avoid further drying. Select all-natural, gentle soaps and cleansers; harsh soaps and cleansers will strip your skin of protective oils and moisture, causing it to be even more dry.
