Products made with whole oats or oat bran are sources of a soluble fiber called beta-glucan fiber. Instant Flavored Oatmeal

Quaker regular instant oatmeal contains 100 calories, 2g of fat, 19g of carbohydrates, 3g of fiber--including 1g of soluble fiber--0g of sugar, 4g of protein and 80mg of sodium per packet. The same serving of Quaker instant flavored oatmeal contains 130 to 160 calories, 2 to 2.5g of fat, 27 to 33g of carbohydrates, 3 to 4g of fiber--including 1 to 2g of soluble fiber--9 to 13g of sugars, 3 to 4g of protein and 130 to 270mg of sodium.

High-fiber Instant Oatmeal

The Quaker high-fiber instant packets each provide 160 calories, 2g of fat, 34g of carbohydrates, 10g of total fiber--including 8g of soluble fiber--7g of sugar, 4g of protein and 210 to 260mg of sodium.

Lower Sugar Instant Oatmeal

Steel Cut Oats

A quarter cup of Quaker steel cut oats contains 150 calories, 2.5g of fat, 29g of carbohydrates, 4g of fiber--including 2g of soluble fiber--1g of sugar, 5g of protein and is free of sodium.

Oatmeal Express

A packet of Quaker oatmeal express contains 200 calories, 2.5g of fat, 41 to 42g of carbohydrates, 3 to 4g of total fiber, 17 to 18g of sugar, 5g of protein and 250 to 290mg of sodium. The soluble fiber content is not provided.

Organic Instant Oatmeal

The regular Quaker organic instant oatmeal is made from organic whole grain whole oats only and provides 100 calories, 2g of fat, 19g of carbohydrates, 3g of fiber--including 1g of soluble fiber--0g of sugar, 4g of protein and 0mg of sodium per packet. The maple and brown sugar organic instant oatmeal contains 150 calories, 2g of fat, 31g of carbohydrates, 3g of fiber--including 1g of soluble fiber-- 12g of sugar, 4g of protein and 95mg of sodium.
