It is involved in the general maintenance and growth of your hair. Also, vitamin A regulates the snytheis of retinoic acid inside the hair follicle, enhancing hair regrowth, according to Natural News.

Vitamin C

Vitamin C helps to regrow hair, as it helps the body adsorb iron which is essential in hair regrowth, according to Natural News. As a water-soluble vitamin, it is not stored in the body. This means that if a woman wants it in her body, she has to consume a diet that has a high source of vitamin C. Vitamin C helps fight off free radicals, these occur naturally when food is transformed into energy by the body. Free radicals can cause damage to the hair by stopping the maintenance, growth, health and development of it, so it is important you take vitamin C so that it can protect your hair. Low levels of vitamin C in the body can cause dry and splitting hair. Having dry or split hair may decrease the speed of hair regrowth, as it is unhealthy and not in the proper condition.
