Ginkgo biloba, according to the Ginkgo Biloba Benefits website, has been in use in China for centuries for various medical ailments. The herb, says the site, possess special properties for aiding and regulating blood circulation in a body, including to the brain and all parts of the head. The seeds and leaves of ginko bilboa can be made into extracts or taken as a drink.
Pygeum
Pygeum is a medical herb that has been used for thousands of years by African healers. The plant's bark was traditionally used to treat bladder and urination disorders, particularly symptoms associated with an enlarged prostate, according to the National Institutes of Health. The bark was also powdered and used to make a tea. According to the "National Geographic Desk Reference to Nature's Medicine," the remedy is can treat hair ailments by slowing and stopping hair loss. However, because of its popularity, the African plum tree is now endangered due to the demand for its bark.
