Designed by professional angler Roland Martin, the Rocket Fishing Rod is a safe alternative for young anglers. The Rocket Fishing Rod has built-in safety features to keep your child and surrounding anglers safe while allowing your child to cast, or launch, the bobber and bait up to 30-ft. into the water. Additional features keep your child entertained if the fish aren’t biting.

Use the Features

The features to the Rocket Fishing Rod are designed to keep your child interested in the fishing process. The basic kit includes the rod and an extra bobber, and the secret compartment on the rod can be used to store extra weights or lures. A built-in ruler along the side of the rod can be used to measure a fish.

Point and Launch

Casting with the Rocket Fishing Rod is as simple as cocking, pointing and pulling the trigger. Start the casting process by pulling the handle back and turning off the safety. Point the rod in the direction you want to cast and press down the reel cover. The hook, bait and bobber are launched like a gun and accidental launching can be avoided with the safety catch.

Rig the Bobber

Setting up the bobber and hook is an easy 4-step process that keeps the hook hidden inside the bobber until it hits the water. This patented safety feature keeps your child from accidentally hooking themselves or someone else. To set up the safety bobber, start by tying the weight and hook to the bobber and put the bait on the hook. Put the entire hook inside the bobber and adjust the line stop for desired fishing depth. The bobber will open to release the hook and bait when it hits the water.
