While moles are not usually dangerous, they can be cancerous in some cases. For this reason, all new moles, as well as moles that visibly change in shape or color, should be checked out by your doctor as soon as possible. However, for non-cancerous moles, there are natural mole removal treatments that can help you get rid of them without surgery or medical treatments. However, these remedies have not been approved by the FDA, so talk with your doctor before starting any new treatments on your own, even if they are natural.
Ground Coriander, Ground Cumin and Lime Juice
According to Melanie A. Sachs, author of "Ayurvedic Beauty Care," a mixture of ground coriander, ground cumin and lime juice can be used to help get rid of moles over time. To make and use this mixture, combine ½ tsp. ground coriander, ½ tsp. ground cumin and the juice of ½ lime in a small bowl with a tight-fitting lid, and stir to combine. Dab a small amount of the mixture onto the mole and leave it on for 30 minutes. Rinse the skin with cool water and wash with a gentle cleanser before applying your regular moisturizer. This treatment can be repeated daily, in the morning or evening, as long as it does not irritate your skin. Unused portions of this mixture will keep for five days in the refrigerator.
Fresh Apples and Castor Oil
According to Bill Gottlieb, author of "Alternative Cures: More than 1,000 of the Most Effective Natural Home Remedies," a mixture of fresh apples and castor oil can be applied to the skin to help remove moles from the skin. To make and use this mixture, combine ½ fresh peeled apple with 3 tbsp. castor oil in a blender or food processor, and puree until a thick paste is formed. Dab a small amount of the mixture onto the skin and leave it on for one hour or until nearly dry. Wash the area with cool water and a gentle soap before applying your regular moisturizer, if you typically use one. This treatment can be repeated daily as long as it doesn't cause any irritation, and unused portions can be stored in a container with a tight-fitting lid in the refrigerator for three to four days.
Grapefruit Essential Oil, Basil Essential Oil and Sesame Oil
According to Ann Worwood, author of "The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy," a mixture of grapefruit essential oil, basil essential oil and sesame oil can be applied to moles to help remove them. To make and use this treatment, combine ½ tsp. grapefruit essential oil, ½ tsp. basil essential oil and 8 tsp. sesame oil in a small bottle, and shake vigorously to combine. Gently massage a small amount of the mixture onto the mole and leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing with cool, clean water. Wash the skin with a mild soap and apply your regular moisturizer. This treatment can be repeated daily as long as it doesn't irritate your skin, and unused portions of the mixture can be kept in a cool, dark and dry place for 30 days.
