It isn't necessary to visit an expensive spa if your extremely dry skin is getting you down. Simply raid your kitchen for healthy, wholesome ingredients and put together a hydrating facial mask. Cream, yogurt and honey are excellent moisturizers, and oatmeal will act as a gentle exfoliant as it soothes dry skin. A grated apple will refresh tired skin as it helps to slough off dry skin cells and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Avocado Dry Skin Mask

Step 1

Peel a ripe avocado and remove the seed. Place the avocado in a cup and mash it with a fork until the avocado is smooth and free of lumps.

Step 2

Stir in 3 tsp. honey and 1 tsp. cream. Mix the ingredients until a thick paste forms.

Step 3

Wash your face with a washcloth and warm water, and then allow it to air dry. Smooth the facial onto your skin with your fingertips. Relax and allow the facial to remain on your face for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 4

Rinse the facial from your skin with warm water, and then pat your face dry with a soft towel. Apply your favorite moisturizer.
