Cellulite appears as pitted, bulging skin around the abdomen, thighs, buttocks and hips. It's most commonly found in women, but men and children can also suffer with it. Cellulite, also referred to as cellulitis, is caused by increased fatty deposits. A variety of home remedies are available to help reduce the unsightly appearance of cellulite.
Coffee Grounds Treatment
Brew a large pot of coffee so there is a minimum of 1/2 cup of grounds available. Use grounds that are freshly brewed and still warm. Add 2 tbsp. of olive oil to make a paste. Tear off several foot-long sections of plastic wrap. Massage the paste into cellulite for several minutes to increase circulation. Wrap in areas in plastic wrap. Leave on for 30 minutes, then rinse off in the shower. This treatment can be preformed several times a week.
Apple Cider Vinegar Oral
Add 2 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar to an 8-oz. glass of water. Pour in 1 tbsp. of honey, and stir well. Drink once a day to help burn fat.
Apple Cider Vinegar Topical
Mix 3 tbsp. of apple cider vinegar with 1 tbsp. of olive oil. Massage this blend into the areas with cellulite for 10 minutes twice a day. The massage will increase circulation and help fade the appearance of cellulite.
Cayenne Pepper and Lemon Juice
Squeeze the juice from one lemon into a glass. Add a pinch of cayenne pepper. Drink daily to fight the effects of cellulite.
Increase Water Intake
Drink eight to 12 glasses of water daily. Water flushes out the toxins and impurities that can cause cellulite buildup in the body.
