Nausea is caused by many things, from food poisoning to morning sickness, and symptoms can include stomach pain, dizziness and sweating. But you can often cure it with items you have at home. Ingredients vary from soda pop to milk. The things you don't have can easily be purchased at your local grocery store.

Corn Syrup

Adults can take one to two tablespoons of corn syrup; and children, one to two teaspoons. The heavy syrup is concentrated in with enzymes that may ease the stomach.

Clear Liquids

Drink clear liquids when treating nausea. Those to try include tea and fruit juices. Drink juice at room temperature to keep your stomach calm.

Sodas

You only should drink sodas at room temperature. Allow them to sit until the all bubbles in the drink are gone and it has become flat. Sodas that are clear, such as Sprite, 7-up and soda water, are also recommended.

Ginger

Take two capsules of ginger to relieve nausea. Raw ginger may be too strong for most people. Alternatives include ginger ale or eating ginger snaps if you have mild stomach problems.

Empty Stomach

Allowing oneself to empty the stomach by vomiting is recommended; it will decrease the nausea.

Wheat Germ

Mix one to two tablespoons of wheat germ in one glass of water. Consume every half hour to relieve nausea symptoms.
