Bare Escentuals reported on Feb. 26, 2009, "For the fiscal year ended Dec. 28, 2008, net sales increased 9 percent to $556.2 million from $511 million in fiscal 2007. Net income for fiscal 2008 was $98 million, or $1.05 per diluted share, an increase of 11 percent compared to net income of $88.1 million, or $0.95 per diluted share, in fiscal 2007."
However, not all has been good news for the company. In 2009, Bare Escentuals was being accused of artificially inflating the company's share prices by providing misleading information to the public.
The company is accused of making misleading statements about the healthy growth from Nov. 7, 2006, to Nov. 26, 2007, according to a class action lawsuit. The business is accused of artifically inflating the value of the company's common stock and in doing so, caused harm to those buying shares during this time.

Along with its foundation, Bare Escentuals offers eye and lip cosmetic lines. Tutorials are also available for purchase. Bare Escentuals also offers various types of cleansing treatments.
