Put a healthy face forward. Don't just wash your face, slough off those dead skin cells, replace moisture and reveal a glowing and radiant you. Leave behind expensive and harsh chemicals that can dry and irritate. Choose ingredients that will work for your skin type and condition, ingredients that will nourish and protect. For a nightly scrub, add lavender oil. Its calming scent can bring on slumber for a good night's rest, or for morning, try using an orange or grapefruit oil which can feel invigorating.

Step 1

Add oatmeal and almonds to blender. Process for two minutes or until they are a fine texture.

Step 2

Add remaining ingredients. Process for 30 seconds to one minute.

Step 3

Scrape into jar and refrigerate until ready to use.

Step 4

Rub into skin gently. Rinse with cool water.

Tips and Warnings

  • Rose essential oil gives a pleasing scent and works with all skin types. Citrus oils, such as lemon, orange or lime, can help with oily skin. Lavender oil is suggested for dry or sensitive skin types.
  • If any irritation occurs, discontinue use immediately and consult your physician. Keep unused portion in refrigerator and use within one week. If mold appears, discard.
