Weslo Cadence Treadmill Review

Weslo Cadence treadmills are produced by Icon Health and Fitness, the company that manufactures NordicTrack and Pro-Form exercise machines. These machines are sold at big-box retail stores and major online retailers.

Prices

Weslo Cadence treadmills occupy a clear bargain niche, with retail prices that range from a low of $200 for the C22 to a high of $700 for the 255 DR as of 2010.

Specs

The Cadence C22 offers a 13-inch wide by 40-inch long walking surface, with a 1.0 horsepower motor that provides a maximum speed of 5 mph. At the opposite end of the spectrum, the C78 has an 18-inch by 54-inch running deck and a 2.5 horsepower motor with a maximum speed of 10 mph.

Features

All Weslo treadmills fold for easy storage. The higher-end models offer motorized incline adjustment and built-in handgrip heart-rate monitors. Lower-end models have manual-adjust incline settings.

Warranty

Expert reviewers frequently cite the short Weslo Cadence warranty period, typically 90 days of parts and labor coverage, as a concern.
