How to Dilute Aloe Vera Gel

Aloe vera gel has been used for centuries because of its therapeutic properties. It is best known for healing burns, cuts, fungal infections, insect bites and other wounds. It can also be used internally to relieve constipation, bronchial congestion and has strong antioxidant properties to strengthen your immune system. Aloe vera gel is a powerful treatment that should be diluted before use.

Step 1

Harvest the aloe vera leaves until each leaf is at least six inches long.

Step 2

Cut near the base and keep the leaf upright while the sap drains. This may take several minutes. Use your knife to slit the plant lengthwise and use the spoon to remove the gel from its center.

Step 3

Combine the harvested gel with four ounces. of distilled water in a pot then bring the mixture to a slow boil.

Step 4

Drop a Vitamin C tablet into the water, crush then mix. Puncture a Vitamin E gel capsule and squeeze its contents into the pot. Mix everything together.

Step 5

Turn off the pot and let mixture cool off. Pour the contents into a jar and store inside your refrigerator.
