Red XL Exerciser Instructions

The Red XL Exerciser is a home abdominal machine that strengthens and stretches your trunk muscles. It consists of a metal, "x" shaped frame with a padded seat and handles on the sides. The chair swivels from side to side, and resistance may be raised or lowered by turning a knob. The Red XL Exerciser works your abdominals from several different angles and positions.

Step 1

Place your Red XL Exerciser on a flat surface with enough clearance on all sides to perform the movements. Wear clothes that are comfortable and allow you to twist, and do not use the machine with bare feet.

Step 2

Turn the resistance knob to set the level of tension. Sit on the seat facing forward with your legs off the floor. Hold the handles with your palms facing in, and twist from side to side. Swivel the seat at angles that are comfortable for you.

Step 3

Remove the seat from the frame by following the manufacturer's instructions. Place it on the floor, then assume a plank position with your elbows and forearms on the seat, your body stretched out and stiff, and toes on the floor. Swivel the seat from side to side slowly.

Step 4

Lie on your back on the floor with the seat underneath the middle of your shoulder blades. Place your hands behind your head, and swivel the seat from side to side. Feel the exercise work the muscles along the sides of your midsection.
