Rosebud is a small town in Todd County, South Dakota. The town, situated within the Rosebud Indian Reservation, is in the south-central portion of the state. The area has several state parks within just a few hours drive that offer plenty of fun and healthful outdoor activities.
Custer
Custer State Park is 191 miles northwest of Rosebud. This state park has 71,000 acres of terrain suitable for several outdoor activities, including camping, fishing and hiking. While spending time in the park, visitors might even catch glimpses of wildlife, including bison, mountain goats and bighorn sheep. The park also has many miles of trails perfect for hiking, mountain biking or even horseback riding.
Sturgis
Bear Butte State Park is 213 miles from Rosebud in Sturgis. Bear Butte has a historic look and is situated within the Black Hills. Fisher Grove State Park

Lake Andes

Platte
