Arizona is home to some of the nation's most beautiful outdoor parks and recreational facilities and is a popular choice for nature enthusiasts and campers. There are several campgrounds in Arizona dedicated exclusively to gay and lesbian campers. They exist to provide gays and lesbians a safe space to enjoy nature and the outdoors with other couples and families like them.

Sulphur Springs Valley

David's Oasis Camping Resort is located in Sulphur Springs Valley, nestled among the Mule Mountains. It is a private membership campground catering to gay and lesbian campers over the age of 21. David's Oasis is situated on 120 acres and offers nature trails, a recreational facility, tent sites, RV hookups, a gym and private showers. It also offers private cabins and RV rentals for a fee.

Phoenix

Desert Adventures is a Phoenix-based membership club that offers camping and hiking to the gay and lesbian community. Members also can enjoy tubing, four-wheeling, cycling and pool parties throughout the Phoenix area. Membership costs $25 for the year as of 2010 and is open to all.

Arizona State

Rainbow RV is a national gay and lesbian RV camp club that has an active Arizona chapter. Rainbow RV has more than 7,000 members, and a yearly membership cost $39.95 in 2010. Members travel to campgrounds across Arizona to engage in a variety of outdoor activities with others like them. Membership is open to all, including singles, couples and families, and there are no age restrictions.

Clay Springs

Arizona High Country Campground is a five-acre campground at the base of the White Mountains dedicated exclusively to gay and lesbian campers. The entire campground is a certified wildlife sanctuary and boasts a number of nature trails, as well as fishing and kayaking. There is also free wireless Internet, a camp library and an ice cream store.

Tonopah

El Dorado Hot Springs is a mineral water spa for gays and lesbians located over a natural subterranean hot spring. El Dorado Hot Springs offers private cabins and bedrooms, with amenities such as kitchens, showers and private bathrooms. Guests can also enjoy therapeutic massages and are free to take home some bottled hot spring water for private use. The 2010 cost for El Dorado Hot Springs is $20 for a day. Children under 5 are free, and children under 16 are half price. The company strongly suggests reservations for weekends or holidays.
