Singles Event Group
The Tulsa Singles Event Group is a network of singles who come together for friendship, social events and dining out together. The group has several volunteer social coordinators that research and pick some of the city's finest and most enjoyable activities for the group to participate in. Activities include parties, sporting events, concerts, dining out and cultural events.
Church Singles Groups
The First Baptist Church of Moore has a singles group. The FBC singles group has an event called Friday Night Live For Him that happens on the third Friday every month. Dinner at the event is at 6:30 p.m., praise and worship 7:30 p.m., and volleyball and recreation start at 8:30 p.m.
Metro Christian Singles Group
In the Oklahoma City area, Metro Christian Singles Group is an organization bringing singles together. Not sponsored by one particular church, this is a private-run group.This is a good opportunity to meet other singles for friendship and fun. Offered each Saturday night is Eaglesnest. Singles from all over the metro meet for karaoke, spoons tournaments, Dance Dance Revolution, and dances once a month on Friday nights. The event is held from 7 p.m. until 11:55 p.m.
Fun for Singles
Fun For Singles is a group in Oklahoma City that meets for adventure, activities and fun. The group offers a variety of activities like horseback riding, a comedy night, book club, murder mystery, comedy dinner and tennis after work. Through this group, singles are offered the chance to meet other singles that they may have something in common with. Whether you are interested solely in friendship or dating, you will find meeting other singles through this event entertaining and a great way to bond with others.
Single Together Sinlges Ministry
Sponsored by St. Luke's United Methodist Church is a singles ministry called Single-Together. This faith-based group brings singles together for worship, fun and friendship. On Sunday mornings at 10:50 a.m. they offer a class for singles. They are in the study of the book "The DNA of Relationships" as of August 2010. This class is focusing on how to have better relationships. The first Friday of each month, the group meets at the UCO jazz lab for some music and fun. In addition, activities include potluck dinners, working with Habitat for Humanity, and movie night held the third Saturday every month.
