The Green Seal program was designed to identify sustainable and environmentally friendly products. The product's life cycle is evaluated from start to finish. Only when the product meets the organization's rigorous standards is the manufacturer awarded the Green Seal for that product. Green Seal cleaning products are environmentally responsible as determined by the non-profit Green Seal organization.
Ace Hardware
Ace Hardware Corp. manufactures and sells two house-brand products that are Green Seal certified with a GS-8 household cleaner certification. ACE peroxide cleaner and ACE peroxide cleaner concentrate are designed for cleansing and stain removal on any surface not harmed by water.
Green4Kleen
Green4Kleen, manufactured by IPAX Cleanogel Inc. is a concentrated cleansing and de-greasing product bearing the Green Seal certification, and is listed as safe to use on any washable surface.
Responsibly Clean
Responsibly Clean products, a line manufactured by Nexgen Chemistries, consists of three Green Seal certified non-toxic products: Responsibly Clean Rug and Carpet Cleaner, Responsibly Clean Bath and More Cleaner and Responsibly Clean Heavy Duty Cleaner.
Office Depot Green
Office Depot has three cleaning products that are Green Seal certified as non-toxic and safe for the environment under a GS-8 household cleaner certification. Office Depot offers an all-purpose cleaner, a glass cleaner and a bathroom cleaner under their "Office Depot Green" label of products.
Oxy-Clean
Oxy-Clean's powdered bleach is the first product worldwide to acquire the GS-11 powdered laundry bleach certification. Not to be confused with the popular Oxiclean brand of laundry additives, manufactured by Church and Dwight Co. Inc., the Green Seal certified Oxy-Clean powdered bleach is manufactured by Oxy Company Ltd., a subsidiary of Reckitt Benckiser Korea.
Roundy's
Roundy's Supermarkets' in-house brand has three cleaners certified under the Green Seal program, all with a GS-8 household cleaner status. The products, marketed under the "Roundy's Green" line include the Roundy's Green Bath and More cleaner, the Roundy's Green rug and carpet cleaner and the Roundy's Green heavy duty all-purpose cleaner.
Simple Green Naturals
Simple Green Naturals, manufactured by Sunshine Makers Inc. has five products with the Green Seal certification GS-8 household cleaner status. All five products are marketed under the Simple Green Naturals line. The multi-surface care, bathroom cleaner, glass and surface care, floor care and dilutable concentrated cleaner all bear the GS-8 Green Seal certification.
Green Scene
Outdoor product and car care company Simoniz USA Inc. has four products certified under the GS-8 Green Seal certification for household products. These products are sold under the "Green Scene All Purpose Cleaner" label and include a deck and fence wash, a house and siding wash, a car wax and wash and a car cleaner and de-greaser.
Simply WoW
Source Direct Holdings Inc. manufactures two cleaning products bearing the Green Seal GS-8 household cleaner seal. These products, marketed under the name "Simply WoW Cleaners" including a degreaser and a spot remover.
Sustainable Earth by Staples
Staples Contract & Commercial Inc. manufactures two products bearing the Green Seal GS-8 household cleaner seal. These products, sold under the name "Sustainable Earth by Staples" consists of a glass cleaner and a multi-purpose cleaner. The products are sold at Staples office supply stores.
