Originally sold through Costco in 2007, the front-drive NordicTrack Elite 1300 is now sold directly from the manufacturer and through other retail outlets, at a greater cost. The Elite 1300 has 10 levels of motor-adjusted silent magnetic resistance, a fixed 20-inch stride length and a maximum user weight limit of 350 pounds. Its footprint measures 78 inches long by 27 inches wide by 72 inches high.
Features
The Elite 1300 has 15 workout programs, oversize foot pedals, a built-in hand grip heart rate monitor and moving handlebars, which are slaved to the pedal resistance mechanism to provide an upper body workout.
Price and Warranty
Previously priced at $1,000, the retail price as of August, 2010 is about $1,300. If you purchase the Elite 1300 directly from NordicTrack, you receive a lifetime frame warranty and one year of parts coverage and in-home service.
