The latest popular diet may seem like the easiest and fastest way to lose weight, but this is not the case. You can lose weight quickly without pills or dangerous crash diets. Making healthy eating choices can help you lose weight without even setting foot in a gym. So if you partner a healthy diet with a fat burning workout regime, you can shed pounds quickly and keep them off.

Step 1

Perform circuit training four times per week to boost your metabolism and quickly build muscle. Do one weighted exercise per body part for four sets of 12 repetitions. Do 1 minute of cardio after every exercise. Remember to challenge your muscles. The last few repetitions of every exercise should be difficult to complete.

Step 2

Track your progress by having your measurements and body fat index taken monthly. Have a fitness professional take your measurements and body fat to decrease room for error.

Step 3

Eat healthy foods. Consume lean proteins like lean beef, soybeans, eggs, fish and legumes to help repair muscles. Eat complex carbohydrates, vegetables and fruits to cut calories, increase energy levels and fuel your workouts. Eliminate processed foods that contain chemicals, high sodium and refined sugar. Processed foods zap your energy levels and encourage weight gain.

Step 4

Perform interval training three times per week to burn significant amounts of fat on the days that you rest. Walk on the treadmill at a high incline for 2 minutes and lower to no incline for 2 minutes. Repeat for 30 minutes.
