Clean & Clear Advantage is a three-step kit to help clear up acne and prevent new breakouts. The kit contains an acne cleanser that uses benzoyl peroxide, an ingredient that helps fight acne. The moisturizer and spot treatment gel use salicylic acid to clear up pimples and pustules. Check with your doctor or dermatologist before using the Clean & Clear Advantage kit if you have a pre-existing skin condition or severe cystic acne.
Step 1
Wet your face with warm water and massage your face with a dime-sized amount of the Clean & Clear cleanser for 20 to 30 seconds, using a circular motion. Use the cleanser in the morning and before bed.
Step 2
Rinse your face thoroughly and pat your skin dry with a clean towel. Rubbing your skin dry can irritate your skin.
Step 3
Cover your face with a thin layer of the acne control moisturizer after cleansing and allow it to dry thoroughly before allowing fabrics to touch your face. Use the moisturizer one to three times daily.
Step 4
Spread a thin layer of the Clean & Clear spot treatment gel over existing breakouts and stubborn pimples one to three times a day as needed after cleansing.
Step 5
Apply a sunscreen with a sun protection factor of at least 15 before going outside. The acne-fighting medications in the Clean & Clear Advantage products can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
Tips and Warnings
- Cut back to using the products once a day or once every other day if your skin dries out, flakes or peels.
- Make sure to rinse your face and hands thoroughly after using the cleanser. Benzoyl peroxide can bleach fabrics. Discontinue using the products if your skin blisters or peels excessively.
