Review of Easton S15 Skates

Easton is one of the most prominent sporting goods and equipment producers in the world. For hockey equipment, its sticks and gloves rank among the industry leaders, and its skates are growing in popularity. The Easton S15 skates were the company's top model under its Stealth line in 2007.

Comfort

When released, the S15 was widely regarded as the lightest skate available, creating a greater level of comfort for a skater while also providing more foot speed and quickness. The composite material in the unique one-piece boot allows for greater flexibility. The inner material molds well to the foot and is comfortable, even with little breaking in.

Features

The Stealth Padlock locks the ankle into place and prevents heel movement, thus providing a skater with better push and energy transfer. The Bio-Dri Pilgrim Grip liner reduces excess moisture, enhancing comfort while also keeping skates lighter for longer. The S15 has a composite footbed with removable heel lift, as well as a durable runner made of Swedish stainless steel.

Price

The Easton S15 is listed at hockeymonkey.com for a clearance price of $329.98.
