This scenic lakeside park is located an hour out of Sparta, New Jersey, on more than 200 acres of natural wilderness. Children's and family activities include picnicking, horseshoes, volleyball, an 18-hole miniature golf course, bumper boats, water slides and New Jersey's largest beach. Point Pleasant Beach
Point Pleasant Beach is a popular spot for kids, teens and adults alike. Just 50 miles from New York City, both RV camping and cabin rentals are available on the scenic 160 acres of natural wilderness. Children and family activities include beach swimming on the 45-acre lakefront, fishing, boating, tennis, basketball, mini golf, a swimming pool and a game room. Other events on site include DJs, dancing, bingo and hot tubs.
Water Park Fun
Ocean Oasis Water Park and Beach Club is part of the "Morey's Piers" chain of beachfront family amusement parks. Parents can relax beach-side in a family cabana or enjoy a massage while kids participate in a number of outdoor water activities in the "Bonsai Beach" children's water play area. Bonsai Beach includes a huge tipping bucket that splashes water from above to cool the kiddies water games such as climbing ropes, nets, water cannons and a selection water slides appropriate for age and thrill-seeking levels.
