Review of Under Armour for Cold Weather

Under Armour uses its patented technology, ColdGear, to provide protection and comfort to in cold temperatures. ColdGear is used by athletes, hunters and outdoor enthusiasts to continue outdoor activities without experiencing muscle tightness or injuries from cold weather.

ColdGear Technology

ColdGear is a patented fabric that is double sided, wicks moisture and circulates body heat. It is lightweight so as not to weigh an athlete down with bulky fabrics. The fabric works in temperatures below 55 degrees F and features ultraviolet protection.

Fit

ColdGear is made to be tight fitting and compressing to improve muscle support and increase circulation during activities, which is supposed to increase stamina and efficiency during cold weather.

Types

The basic long sleeve shirt comes in a crew, mock, hoody or quarter zip neck and in several colors. ColdGear leggings provide protection for the lower body. ColdGear is also available in camouflage patters with scent-blocking technology for hunting.
