Seasons

The end of spring and during the summer and early fall are the best seasons for halibut fishing. The sockeye salmon fishing season on the Kenai River is mid June to July and early August. The middle of June through September is the season for trophy rainbow trout and Dolly Varden also on the Kenai River. Steelhead trout fishing season runs from the end of April to June and the end of September to November.
