The Ab Roller is an exercise device that aids in doing crunches, push-ups and dips. The 2010 model includes places to add weight plates to increase the resistance. To perform a crunch you lie on the floor with your head on the headrest and your hands gripping the overhead bar. Contract your abs to perform a crunch. The Ab Roller rolls with you through the movement. Flip it over in order to use the handles for push-ups or dips.

Step 1

Align the screw holes on the two roller arms with the screw holes on the overhead support bar. Use the short screws to attach the roller arms to the overhead support bar and tighten them with an Allen wrench. Make sure the screw heads face upward when the Ab Roller is on the floor so that they do not scrape the floor during use.

Step 2

Flip over the headrest and use the long screws to fasten it to the lower bar.

Step 3

Attach the roller arms to the lower bar with the short screws.

Step 4

If your model has the optional Pro Assist spring and you wish to attach it, slide the spring into the nylon cover. The smaller end of the spring should be at the top by the headrest. Place the cap over the nylon cover and screw it into the headrest with a short screw.
