The North Face Jester is a backpack available in two designs, the Jester and the Jester SE. Both bags offer ample storage and features that make this daypack suitable for traveling or light hiking trips, or also as a school bag.

Storage

Both versions of the Jester have a storage volume of 1,830 cubic inches. They feature a large zippered storage compartment, and a smaller front zip compartment with interior organizational pockets. The Jester bags also have a bungee on the front and mesh water bottle pockets on either side.

Features

Both versions of the Jester backpack feature FlexVent injection-molded shoulder straps, a stitched foam back panel, a removable hipbelt and an accessory clip. The Jester SE is a special-edition bag that also features leather fabric on the exterior.

Cost

As of August 2010, the standard North Face Jester backpack was available for $55 from the manufacturer's website, while the special edition bag sold for $65.
