If you have been avoiding starting a diet or exercise plan because of the cost of gym memberships and personal trainers, you don't have to avoid it anymore. You can lose weight without spending any of your money by making some simple lifestyle changes and doing some exercises at home.
Step 1
Drink water, which will help you feel fuller for longer periods and help you shed unwanted pounds. Drink at least eight glasses a day, but with water, more is better.
Step 2
Track what you eat. Keep a small notebook with you and write down every single food that you eat, even if it is only a bite of something. By tracking what you eat, you will have a better idea of the origin of your calories. Also, when you are responsible for tracking what you eat, you are less likely to eat foods that are bad for you.
Step 3
Go for a walk. Taking walks around your neighborhood, walking around your office building, and parking in the farthest spot from the store and walking are all ways to increase the amount of steps you take every day. Adding just 2,000 more steps a day will prevent weight gain.
