Your facial muscles are intricately connected beneath your skin, forming an elaborate web of muscles, sinew and tissue. Exercises for your facial muscles and cheeks can stimulate blood flow to the muscles of your face in order to reduce sagging skin and tone your face and cheek muscles.

Forehead

A creased, wrinkly forehead can make you look older than you are. You can firm up the muscles below your forehead skin by placing both index fingers just above your eyelids and pulling down. While pulling down, try to lift your eyebrows. You should feel the muscles in your eyebrow working against the resistance your fingers are creating. Repeat 10 times.

Mouth Corners

This exercise works your cheek muscles and the muscles situated at the corners of your mouth. Extend your lips out and make an 'O' shape with your mouth. Hold your lips extended out like this and smile as wide as possible. Hold the smile for one second, then return to the 'O' shape for one second. Repeat this circuit 10 times.

Face

This facial exercise helps tighten and tone the muscles of your cheeks. Close your lips and smile slightly. Now, suck your cheeks in so they lie in between your teeth. Hold for 10 seconds and relax. Repeat this exercise 10 times.

Cheeks

Having youthful, plush lips and cheeks will make you look younger. Try this exercise to reduce wrinkles around and on your lips. Perform this exercise in front of a mirror so you can see what you're doing. Stand in a relaxed position and smile as wide as you can, keeping your mouth closed and the corners of your mouth turned up. Keep lifting the corners of your mouth towards your ears and wrinkle your nose. You will see your cheek muscles move upwards as the cheek and mouth muscles flex. Hold for five seconds, then relax and repeat 10 times.

Cheekbones

This exercise works your facial muscles of your cheeks for a more toned face. Lift your head up and keep it lifted throughout the exercise. Place your three center fingers on your cheekbones and push down. Simultaneously, smile as hard as you can, lifting your cheeks against the resistance of your fingers.
