Whether you use it as a skin cream or massage lubricant, body butter is a sensual body rub that treats the skin and nose. Sadly, most manufacturers price the stuff accordingly. Rather than shell out real money for a mocha whipped body butter, you can whip up a batch of your own in an afternoon.
Step 1
Place the ice cubes in the metal mixing bowl. Fill two thirds with water.
Step 2
Scoop the cocoa butter into the sauce pan. Cook at medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until melted. Remove from burner once melted.
Step 3
Pour in the almond oil and fragrance oils. Whisk into the melted butter until it's at a uniform consistency.
Step 4
Scoop the mixture into your plastic mixing bowl. Set the bowl in the metal bowl full of ice water. Wait as the mixture cools and begins to thicken.
Step 5
Whip the mixture with your electric mixer until it has a light and fluffy consistency, like cake frosting.
Step 6
Scoop your mocha whip into the glass jar using a wooden spoon. Seal the lid and store in a cool, dry area such as your refrigerator or bathroom cabinet.
