The Japanese-based Asics company was formed in 1977. Creating footwear for martial arts, lacrosse, cricket and netball among others, the company is most famous in recent years for its high quality, performance running shoes. Gel-Kinsei 3
The Gel-Kinsei 3 is marketed as Asic's top performance running shoe for both men and women. Features include a Heel Clutching System that encapsulates the heel providing more stability and comfort, Guidance Line technology that focuses pressure on the center of the foot to decrease the onset of fatigue and a propulsion system that mimics connective foot tissues. Specifications include a weight of 12.6 ounces for men and 10.5 ounces for women, women's standard sizes of 6-13, men's standard sizes of 6-16 and a suggested retail of $180.
Gel-3020
The Gel-3020 is designed specifically for men and women who pronate slightly and are running long distances.
