Unlike road shoes, cross-country shoes offer support, breath-ability, protection and traction not found in other running shoe designs. Adidas Supernova Riot

The Adidas Supernova Riot running shoes were nominated by Fitness Magazine as one of its Best Sneakers for Cross-Country. This model was designed with training in mind. The North Face Single-Track series won the Best Debut award at Runner's World Magazine as well as the Gear of the Year award from Outside Magazine. This shoe was designed as a hybrid for both cross country and road use. Asics Gel-Trabuco 11 WR

The Asics Gel-Trabuco 11 WR series were nominated by Fitness Magazine as one of its Best Sneakers for Cross-Country. This model was designed with training in mind. Features include a gel cushioning system for heel impact, a DuoMax mid-sole support system that supports the foot from heel to toe-off, an SpEVA Mid-sole, a lugged out-sole and forefoot plate for greater traction and a water-resistant upper.
