Whether you're looking for a scenic place to jog, or want some open space to play Frisbee, Chicago offers some of the most beautiful parks in the nation. Enjoy the stunning sculptures in Millennium Park, the free zoo and conservatory in Lincoln Park, and free concerts during the summer weekends in Grant Park.

Skyscrapers

The tallest buildings in America are located in Chicago. Jog up to the top of the Willis Tower or John Hancock building for the most breathtaking views of the city. Or enjoy the magnificent architecture from the street on a walking tour of downtown and the Loop. For elegant drinks and dining, go to the Signature Room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock.

Bicycle Culture

Chicago is a bike-friendly city, and though many commuters choose two wheels for their weekly rides to work, most Chicagoans enjoy bicycling for recreational purposes. Enjoy Chicago's lakefront by riding along the Lakeshore Trail, taking in views of the skyline and Lake Michigan. Hardcore bikers can't miss Critical Mass, which is the largest group ride in the city which takes place every last Friday of the month.

Dining

Healthy dining is easy to find in the home of deep dish pizza. Boystown is the home of the Chicago Diner, one of the most popular vegetarian restaurants in the city. Hipsters often flock to Earwax Cafe in Wicker Park-Bucktown for imaginative vegan dishes. But if you eat meat, the finest gourmet burgers in the Windy City are made at Kuma's Corner in Logan Square.
